How do I hire a car?
Our hiring process is really simple. Get in touch with us to request a quote by detailing when you need the car or chauffeur service. Once you’ve received a quote from us, you can pay the booking fee. On the day of your hire, you can pick up your car or wait for your chauffeur to arrive at your set location.
Which cars are available for hire?
We have an impressive fleet of supercars and SUVs available to choose from for both self-drive and chauffeured services. Check out our showroom to see which car is right for your luxury driving experience.
How far in advance can I book one of your car hire services?
To ensure the car of your dreams is available for self-drive or chauffeur services, we’d recommend reaching out to us for a quote at least a month in advance of when you need it.
What health and safety measures does MRC Hire take for its passengers?
Our professional luxury chauffeurs are fully trained and accredited to guarantee a safe, smooth drive. The MRC Hire headquarters also keeps track of all chauffeured vehicle locations and routes. For any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
To ensure maximum comfort and safety, all of our vehicles are valeted and sanitised between every chauffeured journey and self-driving rider. We all also carry out frequent vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
What do I do if I break down or there’s a problem with the vehicle?
In the event of a breakdown, an issue with the vehicle, or the warning light is displayed, please pull over immediately and contact the number detailed on your car hire documents. The team will send roadside assistance.

Which cars are available for a chauffeur service?
How will I know when my chauffeur car has arrived?
The evening before your journey, you’ll receive an email with all the details you need for a smooth pick up. Your chauffeur will usually let you know they’re ready for your journey and are waiting for you in a pre-determined location by sending you an SMS, ringing your doorbell, or giving you a quick phonecall. Please specify your requirements upon booking.
For airport transfers, they will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name-board and will then escort you to the vehicle.
How do your chauffeurs handle delays and late arrivals?
Our chauffeurs closely monitor traffic conditions to choose the best routes and ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs. For airport transfers, your chauffeur will ask for your flight number so they can see if there’s any delays and plan accordingly.
We kindly ask that you let your chauffeur know if you will be late for their pick-up. The evening before travel, you will receive an email with your chauffeur’s contact details.
Can I request a specific MRC Hire chauffeur?
If you’re a previous MRC Hire client and have a preferred chauffeur you’d like for your journey, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Female chauffeurs are available upon request.

Wedding Car Hire
How far in advance of the wedding should we book our car?
We know how important wedding planning is, and booking a car falls into many things you need to arrange. To avoid disappointment on your big day, and to give you complete peace of mind, we would recommend booking with us at least 6 months before your big day. This ensures that your favourite car is available, and that we can meet any of your special requests.
We’d like to book multiple cars for our guests to travel from the ceremony to the reception. Is this possible?
For multiple car hire for one day, please get in contact with us in ample time of the big day so we can ensure all of your cars are available and you won’t be disappointed. We also offer special wedding car packages at a slightly reduced rate.
Which cars are available for a wedding with self-drive service?
All of the cars in our fleet, with the exception of the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, are available for self-drive on your big day.
Do you decorate the wedding cars? Is champagne included on board?
We’re here to add the little luxurious touches to make every part of this experience special for your wedding day, just let us know what you need. If you have any decorations that you’d like included in your car, such as ribbons or flowers, please deliver them to us and we will work our magic. Champagne is available upon request, please be sure to add this detail in your booking form.

Which cars are available for event car hire?

Can I drink alcohol or smoke in an MRC Hire car?
No, alcohol must not be consumed in any of the cars. The only exception is champagne at weddings, when requested. All cars are also non-smoking, including the use of vapes and e-cigarettes.
Luxury Airport Transfers
How far in advance should I book my airport transfer?
To avoid disappointment on availability, we’d always recommend booking your airport transfer at least 6 months in advance. The sooner, the better!
Are child car seats available?
If you’re travelling to and from the airport with young children who still need a car seat, please let us know in your booking request form, and we will do our best to accommodate. If you would prefer to use your own, please also let us know in the booking request form. We will help you get it secure in the car, and will keep it safe at MRC Hire headquarters while you’re on holiday.

Is there a luggage allowance?
Not at all. Our MPVs and SUVs have ample space for lots of luggage for you and all the family. You can also keep any additional hand luggage with you in the cabin if the boot gets full.
Self-Drive Car Hire
Are there any driving license requirements for self-drive car hire?
To hire a car with us, you need to have had a full UK driving license for at least 2 years, and no more than 6 points currently on your license.
Which cars are available for self-drive car hire?
We offer self-drive hire on all of the supercars and SUVs in our fleet. The only exception is our Mercedes-Benz V-Class, which is reserved exclusively for our chauffeur services. Our Ferrari F430 is also available for self-drive exclusively for use at weddings.
Is there an age limit for self-drive car hire?
For our self-drive car hire services, you must be over the age of 30 at the time of your booking.
Am I insured to drive a hire car?
When you book a self-drive service with us, comprehensive insurance for one driver is included in the hire price. However, in the event of damage, there will be substantial excess to pay.
What documents do I need to pick up the vehicle?
On hire day, please bring along your valid UK driving license, your passport or national identity card for additional identification, and the same card that was used to pay for your booking fee.
